If our defense was better, I really think we would have a chance

Unfortunately, they are not. I think NM and company will have a field day against our D. I'm excited about our kids on offense but think AU's experience and our lack of defense will be too much to overcome.

I'm looking forward to seeing these kids develop.

Different Auburn team than last year, they aren't as good. Nick Marshall is about as accurate as Stevie Wonder playing darts. Load the box, load it and dare them to throw. I have a good feeling about this game.

This game on defense begins and ends with the MLB and DEs. If Welter is Welter its going to be a long night.
If Im Chavis I go LSU defense via Johnny Football 2 years ago. Change it to a 3-4 or play nickel all night.

You don't load em up? To me I overload the middle, Welter wouldn't even play, and I'd start Deion Jones, KB, and Kwon at LB. Jones and Kwon both have enough speed on the edge. Jamal Adams and Jalen at the safety and White and RR on the corners to come up and make tackles. Williams is huge but so is Robinson, and he could fight through those wr blocks. Mills is really good slipping through when he plays around the LOS, so he is up in the middle as well.

Teams have done the same shit to us for years and the good ones have been able to stop our running game. I don't see why we can't apply that same logic.

We did that versus State. But it takes a defensive line that can stay in their gaps instead of going for a TBL. This line either gets pushed around or they get out of their lanes trying to get around a blocker.

Hell you could also go 3-4, have Hunter and Bower play your outside linebacker, with Beckwith and Kwon in the middle, then have Rasco, Thomas, and Godchaux on the DL.

It didn't matter offense and defense both bad. Still contend that giving up 379 yards in the first half = a pitiful defense.
