absolutely, these are by far the best games ever. if i could add a #6 it would be the LSU v. LMU game. that was by far the best LSU basketball game I ever watched. Blanton's jumper from the baseline was impressive too. I think it would be easier to do a Top Ten
1. Earthquake Game 2. UF '97 3. SECCG '01 4. Any year we beat Auburn I might have missed 5. Any year we beat Auburn I might have missed
3 - that I went to AND would go again. 1) Earthquake game 2) 1972 LSU-Ole Miss TD w/ 1 second on clock 3) Basketball - 1986 Sub-Regional Game against Memphis St. at the PMAC. Last second put back by Anthony Wilson for the win. 2 - I missed, but wish I had been there. 1) Basketball - 1981 win against Wichita St. at Superdome to go to final 4. 2) Football - This year's National Championship Game.
1. Sugar Bowl 2004 (duh) 2. LSU-UF 1997 3. LSU-Arizona basketball 1999 (Stro's coming out party, Jabari's fake behind the back dunk) 4. LSU-Miami CWS 5. SEC Champ 2003
1)warren morris GW home run 2)CJ droppin 40 or 50 on florida at florida as a freshman 3)01 SEC CG 4)86' elite eight game when 11th seeded tigers took down kentucky to go to the final four 5)1st round 86 ncaa tourney when they beat purdue in 2 OTS at the PMAC honorable mention 93 CWS when todd walker hit a shot to the 1st basemen and it got thru to get the tigers to the championship against the best closer that year, tigers were down 2 runs and jus before that armando rios hit a double to tie, stole 3rd then walker hit a blistering shot or any dale brown pre game speech, man could that guy motivate i was erasing tapes the other day, and there was the 86 game against kentucky which i kept, but in the post game after blanton hit the game winner, dale told the story to them about the 1980 miracle, cuz we had lost to kentucky 3 times earlier that year and said but when it counted for the gold america won and then said somethin like the United States beat a great Russian team today, i cant help but laugh my ass off at that cuz i know how much kentucky fans hate dale that 86 team would have won the championship if there was a 3 pt line that year, redden was the man R.I.P don redden 5 thigs i d like to forget 1) arkansas game last year, i ve never been so shocked and heartbroken, literally broken as i threw the remote and it shattered 2)LSU Florida from this year, the team was just terrible, and you could tell from warm ups it wasnt gonna be fun 3)LSU ole miss from 01, man was that bad 4)LSU Wisconson from sweet 16 in 2000, its a shame, they could have gone to the final four 5)last year CWS against south carolina, after goin down by so much, then an unbelievable comeback, only to be thrown away (not significant but im a huge wally pontiff fan)
I thought the ending for the earthquake game was great but the rest of the game was pretty bad in my opinion, we couldn't move the ball well and boiths teams were sloppy. I would much rather the came where time stood still, it was a great game.
1. 2004 Sugar Bowl 2. Warren Morris walkoff homer vs. Miami in CWS 3. 148-141 overtime win vs. Loyola of LA 4. Billy Cannon punt return game 5. Any BB game with Pete Maravich
What about the NCAA Tourney game at the PMAC against Memphis, I think, when Anthony Wilson pulled the ball off the floor and put it home with no time left. That game started the crazy run to the Final Four in '86 I believe. I've been to more F-Ball adn B-Ball games than I can coun't and for some reason, that game always stands out as a great one. Tennesse 2001 in OT wasn't bad either.
