For those of us who were not in Tiger Stadium could you please share your experience of what it was like being at the game. This will go down in history as one of the greatest games in LSU history. When it was announced USC had lost it looked incredible. And then winning the game, 5 for 5 on 4th down? WOW!!!

Beat game I've wittnessed in 10 years of going to games. At the begining of the game it was the loudest I've ever heard. That was until they announced the USC score. Absolutely insane. I bought a ticket for $100 an hour before kick off that was on the 50 yard line, first row. We walked to the student section and sat with our friends. I never have to go to a game again in my life after that.

Completely amazing. I went through so many emotions watching this game. If I was any older than 25 I wouldn't have survived it. I almost had a heart attack but this one was by far better than the Georgia win a couple of years back. The crowd was rocking. Although there were too many people b*tchin and moaning around me during the entire game. I

It didn't tick me off as bad as Florida jumping on the eye before the game but that seemed to pump the crowd up even more. You could tell they did it just to piss off the crowd. Just goes to show you don't stomp on the eye of the tiger.

It was completely surreal. Absolute chaos. Without question the most intense game I've ever attended at Tiger Stadium in the 30+ years I been going to games.

After the dust settled, I had to just sit in my seat, look around, and take it all in. I've literally waited my entire life to have the right to say LSU is number 1 without question and it happened tonight. How can you compare that feeling to anything?

Intense and a bit surreal! After the USC announcment was made, the stadium was the loudest I've EVER heard it in 10 years of going to LSU games. One of those moments where you put so much of yourself into screaming/ hollering/ making noise that your heart just starts thumping in your throat and you have that odd, tingling/ shaking feeling coursing through your entire body. I had to keep sitting down just to compose myself.

    1. those who bash us (students) need to STFU, b/c when everyone else was quiet and feeling sorry for themselves, we willed the guys to the win. Just look who they rally around after the game

    2. Florida is a HELL of a football team. The best we have seen by 4 touchdowns.

    3. Tebow is as good as advertised.

    4. last, but not least, heart of a champion...

Was a very good game that kept you on the edge of your seat the entire time. It was the loudest I've heard Tiger Stadium since TAF turned it over to the wine and cheese bunch that sits on their hands and leaves in the 3rd quarter. The crowd definitely had an effect on the game in the 2nd half. I've been to quite a few really big games in the last 30 years and this one ranks right up there with the best of them.

All good points...I agree with most of everything here but no one is bashing the students for what they provide to Tiger Stadium. There is no way TS is the same without them. The way some handle themselves is what people talk about. I'd prefer that people talk about how loud it is in the stadium as well as how great they were treated when visiting from other schools.

I found the Georgia game and the Oregon St game the loudest for the better part of the game. While Florida was 14 points ahead most of the game it was scary quiet for long portions. One of the guys I work with commented on how quiet it was in the beginning. But when the jets were lit the place felt like it moved. The announcement of the USC/Stanford score the place came unglued. The whole team was jumping around...5-10 yards onto the field. The Gator fans were going crazy as was their team. I looked down at him and gave him the cupped ear...yea it was loud. Then Florida proceeded to march right down the field and score....it got quiet real quickly. After the inteception it didn't get quiet again until now...1AM Sunday morning. My ears are still ringing from this one.

Yeah, they did, and several of their players took their helmets off and raised them high while they were doing it. :dis:
