My Wife's parents gave me a wooden sign for Christmas that says " We interrupt this marriage to bring you football season " I went with my wife and her parents to see her sister in England last year over Christmas and all the way to Jan. 7th. I had to get up at 3 in the morning and freeze my butt off listening to the game on the computer just to hear the Miami game. I missed every other bowl game. She is not messing with me much this year cause when she does i give her the " Look " and she doesnt push it. She is a trooper though and i am very lucky to have her. She knows LSU time is important to me and i go to plays and concerts with her because those are things she likes. It is all give and take .
I'm lucky my wife is an LSU fan too. Fall is all about football and I don't have to hold back. She used to get upset when I would watch Pro games all day but now I just tell her the teams I am watching have LSU players on them and I want to see how they do.
:thumb: Feel free to use this excuse as often as necessary. Even if there are no LSU players on the roster. It has been tested and it works. "Sure honey, he played at LSU in the 90's, you just don't remember." Just make sure to change the channel during player introductions.
