I think he understands how all the fans feel about his coaching last night. Hopefully, he will learn from this game and not make the same mistakes in the future. He has extremely talented players, and I'm hoping he figures it out and we don't lose too many more games this year. I admit, I was pretty mad about the game for the entire next day, but now I'm ready to move on and I hope all of the other Miles doubters do the same. I'll support him through the end of the season. I hope he turns it around. I'm not sure about Bo Pelini though...
I don't like a coach that blames players either, my feeling is the sideline reporter hit him with a question he wasn't expecting, and he was nervous..and just said something inappropriate at the time. Saban has been known to lay the blame at the feet of players (remember Prude last year??). I think most people are just upset at the loss, and take an overreacting approach to anything that comes out of his mouth because they are upset and not wanting to hear anything good. Also, one of JR's relatives on TB said Miles apologized to JR for the coaches' playcalling in the 2nd half. Everything will work itself out..Miles is new to this just like we are new to having him as coach. In theory, running the clock down is a sound principle..Saban did it (or tried and paid for it) many times.
Hopefully come December all of our faces will be red, and we can be embarrassed about how we treated Miles and staff after these two games.... HOPEFULLY... (Dear God... Please let this team . . . )
