Give us something to cheer about!!!!!!!!!! Sitting on a lead is not what LSU football is about and don't expect us to be fired up when thats what we see. Our offense going 3 and out and our defense trying win the game alone. ABSOLUTELY NO HELP FROM THE OFFENSE. The defense caused a turnover deep in UT territory in the first half....intercepted a pass for a TD....the coaches didn't expect our offense to do anything, thats why we did NOTHING and got BEAT!!!! Really....what were we suppose to cheer about?
now THAT I agree about... the 2nd half, we opened up running, etc... you cant explode for a 3 yd gain... Then Tennessee carved us up... you can't cheer that... the fans were there when they could be
I agree...they tried but lack of momentum quieted the crowd down. When TN had the ball it would get loud on the first few plays but that damn soft zone and these TN recievers eating up 5-6 yards at a time it was hard to keep the intensity up. Then we get the ball and run 12 or 13 plays out of 15 in the 2nd half. So blame it on vanilla play calling in the second half.
I remember this from Saban era... fisher ball..... to a certain extent you should play ball control if you're up 21-0 but not 3 and out crap! :dis:
Yeah....I thought I heard that Jimbo was really going to open it up now that: 1. Saban is not holding him back. 2. Prolific talent at WR 3. QB with a cannon Was that my imagination? There are OC's out there that would droll to have what we have.
I was screaming at the top of my lungs and clapping during all of the defensive plays. It just gets tiring in that insane humidity and the inability of the defense to stop anything.
a few more games like this and you wont have to worry about the fans. Miles could single handedly do what no coach has done at LSU before: turn the fan base into a Saints fan base? gulp! please noooooo :shock: :cry: :cry: :cry: :cry: somebody tell Miles mary poppins aint coming and get that dahm Pelini's A$$ in gear!
Nobody here knows or will ever have the full story of what went on. I am almost 100% that the "reigning in" was and is a head coach's decision.
