curious how you guys feel about how the players increased their value in the upcoming draft? Maybe scouts figure that THAT was the REAL lsu team this year, not the tired, weary team they saw all year.

things to consider, the offensive line played its first healthy and rested game in a long time and DOMINATED a very good and respected defensive front of miami.

joseph addai, while healthy, played better than he's ever played. He looked VERY sharp...

while going into the game, I felt the defensive front couldnt do anything to help their stock... WOW... especially wroten... I think he's in the first round with a good workout this summer.

figure landry's probably gone... maybe prude made himself a viable option in the late rounds?

I think Addai probably solidified himself as an early 2. Wroten didn't have any room to move up but put up another solid performance.

It certainly didn't hurt. The scouts won't pay too much attention to 1 game, but the players proved what they are capable of. Hopefully with this confidence under their belt, their combines will all be very impressive.

I was real pleased for Addai and think the Peach Bowl helped his draft status tremendously. But I don't see him as a second rounder.

Maybe not, alot can happen between now and the draft, but that is where he is rated right now.

I wish the very best for Addai. He has good work ethics, fast and strong and was a good leader. He should do well and deserves every bit of it.

Landry has always been my favorite (somehow reminded me of Ronnie Lott with his hard hitting). I hope he stays, but may go for the draft. If he goes, best of luck to him.

Oliver has had strong and consistent performances, and was quite visible in the Peach Bowl. That should help his status.

I talked to LaRon about him maybe going into the Draft. He laughed a little when I asked him, and said "Well, I'll tell you one thing, I'm trying to graduate. I really want to graduate." It would be great if we could keep him for 1 more year. Another thing, was Joseph Addai invited to the Senior Bowl? If so, he could definitely get his draft stock up, like Matt Jones did last year.

    Yes, he was invited.

I think Whitworth may have moved himself up considerably. He had dropped like a rock this year (potentially to 4th round) and may have bumped himself up two rounds with that effort (a la 2004.)

I definitely think Addai is gone before the third round comes around...he will prove himself at the Senior Bowl and the combines. He's fast, strong, a good receiver, and always falls forward.
