    Might as well laugh

It beats the heck out of crying. It's been a great five years to be a Tiger fan. Hello, oblivion!

I've heard the Curley Hallman rationale for hiring a head coach from a 2d tier school before (like, when LSU hired Curley). "Look at what he did at Southern Miss with no facilities, poor recruits, he still beat FSU and Bama, etc." And THIS is the rationale we get for hiring Miles? Man, what a nightmare! Doesn't anyone learn from history? LSU had the opportunity to hire one of the brightest offensive innovators in the country (Petrino). It had the opportunity to at least interview some NFL head coaches and coordinators. If none of those guys were interested, then perhaps Miles would be a decent fallback choice.

I hope Skip has a very good reason for pulling the trigger on this one, so quickly. Skip is a great guy and I hope he can convince me and all Tiger fans that Les Miles is the man for the Tigers.
