If only we can make it through this game, be the front runners in the West, and have TWO WEEKS to get healthy and prepare for another tough conference challenge. BTW...Sorry for the mis-spelling. Re: Injurt Update Thread I don't you'll see anyone on that list miss this game except maybe Doucett. But i'm hoping he's better and is lined up. But hopefully we won't need him so he'll have another 2 weeks of resting before the Bama game.
Chevis- Should be good to go. I heard he sat out practice on Monday though Doucet- Have heard he is fine but the coaches are scared to play him. Hester- I think he has a bruised thigh.
Buddy Songy said today that they expect Early to play 20-25 snaps this weekend. He also said that Early is about 80%.
Im worried about Doucet. Its one of those deals that could end tragically if he comes back to soon. I am glad he isnt trying to be some hero...time for the rooks to step up.
Yeah we don't need Doucet to become a Beckham (L.A Galaxy). If we don't need him I say rest him as much as possible. We'll need him in the final stretch after our off week.
I'll be very surprised if Doucet plays 25 snaps after this long a layoff and only 80%. If Hester's thigh bruise is deep, he won't be carrying the ball 20 times either. This will be a game where Scott, Williams, and Murphy will run the ball.
