After watching some of that game footage (sober), it appears to me that ASU just has a superb O-line. They provided Keller with all the time in the world to throw completions. The DB's can't run with the WR's forever if we aren't getting any pressure on the QB. That made me feel a little better about Bo (just a little).
uh no, Bo didn't make the necessary adjustments to combat a good protection scheme i wouldn't venture too far off from total disgust for Pellini's performance
Yes the ASU OL gave Keller plenty of time. However, it is much easier for the OL if they know that 4 guys were going to rush play after play. There was no creativity in the rush or any changing up rush patterns to throw them off balance, not to mention no blitzes at all. You make the OL's job much easier when they know what to expect every play.
So, I take it you were not watching the game Saturday night? I saw blitzes on several occasions. Unfortunately with the 100 yard cushion the corners were giving, LSU got burned on nearly every blitz.
I decided to watch the replay last night....... prolly 90% of the LSU blitz schemes were delayed blitz..... I saw the same thing Jimmy Ott saw. Sam Keller had all day to pick us apart. He saw the delayed blitz and usually just dropped it off to the short receiver or back. Big time pitch and catch in Tempe. The cushion sure as hell didn't help things.......
