As I stated in an earlier thread, Im in Pigeon Forge, TN (30 min from Knoxville). We went eat at this Mexican place (No Way Jose's), great food by the way, and we got to talkin with the owner of the establishment. He's a big UT fan and goes to all the games.

He thinks LSU will win for two reasons. The first being that Ainge hasn't practiced all week, and his ankle injury is more serious than UT is letting on. And of course with our defense, if he can't move around to avoid the pass rush, he's toast.

The second reason being that UT has a horrible run defense. He knows about LSU's problem with the running game, but he said UT hasn't been able to stop anyone all year.

So if we can jump on UT early, and make them a one-dimensional team with a QB that has a bad foot, we could run away with it. I hope that happens. I thought ya'll might like this little tidbit.

When I hear the name Ainge, I can't help but think of Tree Rollins biting Danny Ainge in the NBA playoffs. Hopefully our Tigers can take a bite out of Erik Ainge's ass (or at least his ankle) this weekend.

If Jimbo is the offensive genius some believe him to be, he needs to open the flood gates early so we can make Tennessee one-dimensional. That would allow our defense to feast on Mr. Ainge while he's trying to play catch up.

And for you nascar fans, the owner of the restaurant is also close friends with the owner of the Bristol Motor Speedway in Bristol,TN. He said that his friend is trying to get UT to play a big game, preferably a SEC opponent, on the infield of the speedway. The track can hold 180,000 people. It wolud be the biggest game in NCAA history. I told him to tell his friend to wait for the tigers when we come back in a few years. I told him that it wouldn't be a problem to get LSU fans to travel up there.

They have been trying to get that for years. Most rumors surround Va Tech, since Bristol is about half-way between the schools. I don't think it will ever happen. The seats would be too far away. You would have to do something with Pit Row. You would have to prepare a field that no-one could drive on for several months before the game. It's just not that good a plan.

Why do coonasses leave out key prepositions in some sentences? Cracks me up everytime I hear/read it.

Count me in. 180,000 CFB fans would just be incredible!!!!

And good post DOTB. Great to hear that about Ainge. I look for Dorsey and Highsmith to make some Booger-like man-love in the backfield.
