I was watching the Texans lose to the Cowboys last night. DD didn't play after the first quarter, Morancy from Ok. St. played most of the night, saving DD for the season.

They said that DD was one of only a half dozen backs to gain over 1,000 yds rushing his first two years in the league, in the last 20 years! That's pretty impressive. I saw the list of names, and you know them all, but I can't remember any.

Davis looked real good while in. He had 8 rushes for 39 yds, almost 5 yds per carry. He has good vision and runs away from pile ups, good quickness and shifty. He almost never fumbles.

I see Morency was 11 carries for 55 yds. so it looks like DD will have a good backup this year. I think he got tired by the end of the season last year, and they needed to find another solid back to share the workload this year. DD is a primary recieving target, and runs well after the catch, but I think he was in on about 40% of the Texans plays last year, and they want to reduce that to keep him fresher. Sounds like a good plan to me.

I love some DD, but the guy is so darned injury prone. Tweaked his knee and elbow last night, which is why he came out sooner than they hoped for.

Morency looks like a stud, and is a great compliment to DD. It's a shame that Tony Hollings hasn't stepped up more, but he's got injury issues too.

Hope DD has another great year. Took him third round in my fantasy draft. Everyone called me a homer for picking him that high, but later said that he was their next pick. He is getting a lot of respect, and rightfully so. Good luck to all former LSU players in the pros now, and Geaux Tigers..... LSU!
