Lay off the kid, he seems like a real honest person that just doesn't have much life experience. These kids are off limits to me.
I'm with you philter. Seems like a nice kid. Even looks like a nice, friendly guy. We've got enough thugs in college football. The game could use some more nice, genuine young men, even if some of them are a little naive. I wish this kid well. I hope he gets his big house and has the money to buy all the candy bars and honey buns he wants.
Yeah to me he seems like a decent kid. Much better than some juvenille delinquent. Then again, he could actually be very intelligent. I know a guy who played football at my high school who was the most childish person I ever met, yet he had a 4.0....sometimes I think its just there personality.
Any of you remember a guy by the name of Brandon Jacobs that played football in the cane fields of South Central Louisiana? Nicest guy you'd ever meet (despite first impressions,) but there is a reason that these kids are playing football in college....
i dont understand why people think this guy is dumb. to me he sounds honest and funny. he didnt say anything dumb at all. he sounds smart to me. is disguising not a talent? are honeybuns not awesome? are big houses not lovely? i have never been to europe or paris either. "“Candy, I love candy. I love candy bars and snacks. If they didn’t make snacks and junk food then I would be lost." i have a friend who is exactly like this, he gets real philosophical about candy. he just graduated from stanford law school. people who are this into candy are smart. best kid ever.
I'm with FT on this one. That interview is just begging to be satirized. I mean, come on; never been to Europe or Paris? He's a simpleton. Toomers Corner is the Times Square of his world. Play some ball and leave the interviews to the coaching staff.
