Last years Florida team was a far cry from the team Iowa will be facing in several days. I hope they think we will play like Florida did last year. :grin:
Iowa got pounded by the 3rd best team from the pac ten, and they were co-big ten champs, against the 3rd best in the SEC they wont' stand a chance
NOW look who's talking! From Ferentz all but saying he was glad for the Saban to the Dolphins distractions to this "keep talking" smak from his players...all I have to say is LSU is being business-like and keeping the chatter to a minimum. I seem to remember Michigan flapping their gums about being the "forgotten" Rose Bowl opponent last year, the one that would show up and represent against USC on game day. Silly Big Ten guys...LOL.
Iowa's a good football team. Their fans and players talk too much. Let's hope Nick can hold the team's focus for one final buttwhipping. I think he will.
These Iowa boys don't realize it just yet, but they have the misfortune of being caught up in the tidal wave of emotion that is Nick Saban's finale' at LSU. The LSU football team is going to come out of that tunnel fired up, and 60 minutes later, those farmboys aren't going to know what hit them.
We should be careful for a team with a chip on their shoulder. If they feel like they have something to prove, and our guys don't match that intensity...uh..
Put last year's Iowa team in a time machine. Go back about ten years... have them play the Florida Gators then. Spurrier would've had a few feathers for his hat.
I can understand why they feel the way they do. Last year all they heard from the media and the fans was about UF's speed. If anyone brings it up again it's like sticking a finger in a wound.
