Seems to be some confusion between Davis and Brady about playing in the Auburn game. Brady says there is a chance he will be out there if he practices the rest of week but Big Baby says he is not playing because he wants to take his time. He returned to practice today and the doctor has cleared him to play and said the leg is fine. It seems that Brady is worried about his conditioning before the SEC tourny. Looks like it is up to Davis to decide but he doesnt give the impression he will.

I would guess a part of him wants them to have the same type of game without him there as they did when he was there. He's afraid to go back and the team get drummed after all the "Is the team better without Davis" talk.

What a terrible thing for me to speculate huh? :dis:

Davis will not be making the trip to Auburn.

Coach says one thing, player says another ... sounds like the NBA.

    bhelm,

Thanks for posting only a portion of articles now and putting a link for the rest. We appeciate it!

If Davis wants to take his time, then he should stay home for this road trip too.

i wonder if there is any strategy being used here?

youre gonna need davis to make a run, not just because he's a great player, but also because you need one more body for 4 games in 4 days.

so, you want him healthy, but he needs a little while to get into game shape and (the bigger issue) getting into rhythm with the new lsu team.

btw, i dont think davis needs to be concerned about fitting in with the team, but the team needs to learn how to play with him. specifically, tasmin, gt and martin need to remember how to make offensive moves with glen out there.

    Just curious --

Anyone have any thoughts if he'll enter the draft after this year, or return to the Tigers next year? (He is a junior, correct? -- forgive me for not knowing!)

He should come back because he wont be a high draft pick. And yes, he is a junior.

I can't see him leaving either, unless there's one heckuva surprise ending to this season.

Here is a video with LSU fans begging Big Baby to stay another year with some very hot girls for your viewing pleasure. Davis responds to the comments about the possibility of staying but he leaves us in the dark, for obvious reasons.
