There is no team better at blocking downfield with it's receivers than LSU.

On the game winning play, Chris Mitchell gave a critical block to clear the path for Lafell to jaunt into the endzone.

So I implore you, can you find me a better WR coach?

Agree with the post! Miles has assembled a great staff, Stud, Lane, McCarthy, Porter. This may be Miles greatest strength, picking good assistants.

Larry Porter will be a head coach somewhere down the line.

this is something that i love about miles. he knows he is only as good as the assistants he surrounds himself with. and he ego doesnt get in the way of hiring the best. he is not looking for "yes men" he is looking for damn strong coaches. and from what i see, lets them do their jobs!

when clm was at oklahoma state and insisted on higher pay and long term contracts for his assistants in leiu of a higher salary for himself when hired, that said a lot for him and his belief in hiring the best. and at that time, long term contracts for assistants was unheard of.
