That LSU defense is a Fraud (with the numbers to back it up)? I was away from the TV all day so I did not hear this for myself. secondhand info. If he did say this I hope someone showed this to the defensive players. I am now pissed off.:angryfire
He said that LSU's defense was a fraud in the red zone and quoted the number of touchdowns and field goals scored against them from there. I can't remember if was for the last three games or the whole year. :geauxtige
It was something like, in the last 15 trips to the red zone, LSU's defense has given up 11 td's and 5 fg's
He was so pessimistic towards LSU it was almost unbelievable. Really. It was almost as though he was purposely trying to stir LSUs pot. Trying to fire them up. It was strange.
Well, if LSU decides not to play like crap from now on, we won't have to worry about Corso or any other nay-sayers, but it would be insane to deny the fact that our D has been digressively worse since the second half of the USC game. We held Miss State to 146 yards, VT to 149 yards, and MTSU to 90 yards, but then we "held" SC to 261 yards, Tulane to 227, Florida to 314 yards, and UK to 375 yards (and 43 points).
I wish SOMEONE would show SOMETHING to the defensive players that would make them as pissed off as you. I think they ARE going to be angry for this game. They have digressed every week and they need to snap out of it. Maybe anger will do it. It seems like we've been sitting back and letting the offenses bring it to us and I wish we would get more AGGRESSIVE.o:
