1. A week or so back, Jerrell Powe announced he was switching his "commitment" from Auburn to LSU. The next day he said it wasn't final. Now he is saying he is going to Ole Siss. I don't think it matters a lot unless someone gets a kick out of him wearing their school's shirt under his JC jersey.
  2. Lies...lies....all lies..... :po:
  3. I was happy that he made his announcement on National TV only becuase it gave us some media attention, he even said his committment was made mostly for family members and friends.
  4. He is going JUCO anyway, IMO.
  5. He is an LSU committment until he says he ain't.
  6. Just wanted to update you guys on the situation. I'm pretty sure he is going the JUCO route so who he signs with does not really matter. He'll be back up for grabs in one, probably 2 years. This may be the reason Auburn coahces have backed off on him. Or maybe we just don't want his extra baggage.

I'm really not sure the reason, but thought you guys would be interested that Ole Miss is now in the middle of it.
  7. who cares?

Let's see, we've got a 17-18 y.o. kid, who is pretty much acting his age, probably laughing his a$$ off at the commotion his antics are causing. Come back in 3 yrs and see where this kid is --- judging by his flakiness he'll probably be a flash in the pan. LSU would do well to recruit the Sean Cangelosi's, the Okie Woods, the Jimmy William's, Ron Sancho's and Toby Caston's -- solid character kids with their heads screwed on straight -- and not publicity - seeking whack jobs.
  8. Re: who cares?

Wow, some of us are quick to judge others. :dis:
  9. How so?

Dude "commits" to Auburn, then he publicly "commits" to LSU, then is quoted as saying he's going to Old Miss. OK, so if he's not a whack job (perhaps unfair on my part) at the very least he's a kid who is enjoying all the attention and doesn't know the definition of the word "commit." Basically, let's put it this way, verbal commitments these days really don't mean much, do they?
  10. Indeed we are.:dis:
