1. OSU is going to get hit with something, by what and how much likely depends on how quickly OSU throws Tressel under the bus. If they continue to stand by him after his slap-on-the-wrist fine and suspension, then it ain't gonna be pretty. The NCAA has already been publicly humiliated by its handling of the Cam Newton situation, and especially by that joke of a suspension it handed down to OSU that conveniently didn't apply to the Sugar Bowl. They're going to be inclined to make an example out of someone.
  2. how are universities supposed to take NCAA rules seriously when the NCAA themselves show blatant favoritism when it comes to these big schools. Regardless if Tressel knew or not, the NCAA knew that these guys did what they did, and they still didn't suspend them because they wanted the sugar bowl to be watched. So, the NCAA tells it's students, and schools, and coaches, "We the NCAA put money ahead of everything else, but you shouldn't." It's a double standard, and I don't see how anyone can take the NCAA seriously when they do crap like that.

  3. :geaux: Agree. Money talks. :dis: Lot's of favortism too. It's gonna be very interesting to see how this shakes out. If they (NCAA) don't stick this up Tressel and OSU's a$$, the NCAA will have absolutely ZERO credibility left. They're almost down to zero now, but doing nothing about this would give them the final push to get there. :LSU231:
  4. The NCAA is so mad at the Ohio State University it's going to add two years probation onto Western Kentuckey.
  5. Tark is that you?

  6. :geaux: That's about right. :hihi: Nothing the NCAA does is a surprise anymore. Unless it's the right thing of course. :LSU231:
  7. When are they going to get around to Scam Newton?:rolleye33:
  8. The sweater vest is about to take a huge one up the arse!
  9. Tressel broke one of the cardinal rules of life. Never, ever, ever get caught in a cover-up.
