Baylor @ #3 Oklahoma State #4 Stanford @ USC #6 Clemson @ Georgia Tech Oklahoma @ #10 Kansas State (obviously not a true upset) We could be down to just 2 BCS Conference teams with unbeaten records after this weekend. LSU and Alabama. We'll see how good these undefeated teams are at the very least.
I don't see Stanford letting up at USC. I expect they'll be focused. I would even throw a cheap bet & take Stanford -7. I think they win by double digits. No Way OU loses 2 consecutive weeks. I think they win at K St., but I wouldn't put any money on the spread. I think It'll be within 14 points. Ga Tech has the most upset potential out of these games to me vs Clemson. These games are always tough, but Clemson seems to be rolling this year, so I wouldn't bet against them.
Gtech coming off an horrendous offensive performance vs Miami last week. They will redeem themselves and it will be a shootout. I hope Kansas State wins and we don't have to hear OU and BCS title hopes in the same sentence again. And Landry Jones and Heisman as well. Stoops sucks. USC offense vs Stanford defense will be an interesting matchup. We'll see how good that D really is. All 4 games likely to see all 8 teams above 30 points. I got: Georgia Tech 44, Clemson 41 Stanford 45, USC 34 Oklahoma 34, Kansas State 31 Oklahoma State 51, Baylor 41
Okie state has major problems on defense and Baylor has the offense to go score for score with them . BAY. 42 OKST. 38 Oklahoma and k-state should be good , but OU looked past tech and it hurt them . OU 31 KSU 17 GT has lost there offense so unless they find it fast , it won't be pretty come saturday . CLEM. 51 GT 31 Standford and USC will be a toss up . both QBs are prob. the best in the draft , I do think barkley is better than Jones , but USC does struggle on defense late in games . STAN. 34 USC 31 OT My BCS proj. for nxt. week . 1. LSU 2. Bama 3. Clemson 4. Boise State 5. Stanford
I think Boise is dropping to 5th in that scenario. A 1 loss Oregon could jump Boise by year's end, if they run the table and get that extra win in the PAC 12 CG.
I honeslty don't see neither one making the championship even if they run the table . Boise needs way to much to happen . They need VT to win the ACC , Penn State to win Big Ten , and Arizona State to win Pac 12 and they might have a chance , since none of them will be ranked #2 are #3 by years end . Standford can but I wouldn't look past Arizona State if they meet in championship game .
Baylor has the potiential to beat oklahoma st for sure. Oklahoma st's defense just isn't up to par. Just dont think baylor has enough playmakers to pull this out. gonna be a long day for them Oklahoma St.45-21 Luck is licking his lips right now waiting to light up USC's horrible secondary. he's going to put up major yardage. Plus they have an effective running game to balance out. USC's offense is good, and will be a test to stanford, but I think the Cardinal will take this big 35-14 Clemson is on fire right now. They're the nations darling team, and their freshmen wr is doing things most sr's cant. But they aren't unbeatable. getting down a few scores to GT could be deadly for them, bc Tech runs the ball a lot, and that would kill the clock. BUT I just dont see Tech staying competetive in this one. 42-14 clemson Kansas st is probably the most improved team in the nation, but do they honestly have the team to beat oklahoma. The answer is YES. Ou's defense is terrible, and coach snyder is an experienced man who im sure is digesting plenty of film right now to find the right keys to success. I think they'll find a way to get pressure on jones. 21-17 K State
Baylor has 5 recivers over 100 + yards reciving and 4 backs that rushed for over 100 yards . they have the players , just have to be ready to play and not make mistakes .
I think at least two undefeated teams get beat Saturday. And I think Stanford will be one of em. Luck hasnt played a top notch defense all year and though usc isn't one it is better than what he has been playing. If not this Saturday then against Oregon. Here's Luck's numbers against his opponents. Note that not one of Stanford's opponents are ranked in the BCS. The columns represent the opponent, Luck's pass efficiency against that opponent, the opponent's pass efficiency defense rating and the opponent's ranking in pass efficiency defense in the FBS.The average defense that Andrew Luck has faced is ranked 97th in the FBS and while his personal 179.48 rating is fifth ranked in the FBS Opponent Pass Efficiency Pass Efficiency Defense Opp Ranking San Jose St. 146.02 133.64 73 Duke 198.43 148.78 104 Arizona 173.88 154.74 115 UCLA 192.48 140.58 96 Colorado 196.91 152.9 114 Washington St. 173.4 150.67 111 Washington 175.22 132.78 69
