I'm pretty sure he'll be a free agent now, but I didn't know if it was for this season or next season. I'd love to see him geaux somewhere and be a starting QB.

I think he has atleast 1 more year. Watching Sportscenter after the Super Bowl, they had graphics showing what free agents (restricted or unrestricted) the Pats had and Davey was not listed.

The Pats will not let RO walk away with nothing to show for it after next season. They might get a 1st or second round pick if they trade him.

The Raiders offered a first rounder for Ro before last season(2003) and the Pats declined. Since then RO has learned more and more under Weis and Brady, not to mention he won the NFL MVP in NFL Europe last summer.

The Pats will trade him before the 2005 season starts, imo.

If the Raiders offered a first rounder, they are morons.

    Why is that?
Gannon was banged up in the preseason and obviously the Pats thought high enough of RO to decline the Raiders offer.

Those Pats are morons.... Hell, they drafted some other garbage QB in the 6th round. What's his name, Tom Brady?

You sure about this Crawfish?? If this is true, the writing is on the wall for their long term plan at QB. No way do you pass up a 1st round pick for a back up QB.

Yes they did. It was right after the 2002 season (preseason 2003). The pats had a losing record the previous year(2002). They won the superbowl in 2001.

then of course they won it again in 2003,2004
