Isit "Alley" or "Ah' Lee"

    Is it "Alley" or "Ah' Lee"?

    I thought it was the former, but the announcers last week refered to Highsmith with a pronounciation as would follow "muhammad . . ."

    Our "home" announcers on tigervision are calling him "Alley"

    i always thought it was Alley (Ali) but everyone pronounces it AhLee... so i guess the latter is correct.

    Don't know, but Xavier is pronounced "zavier", not "ex-zavier". I wish Jim Hawthorne and Buddy Songy would learn that.
