    Let me sum it up this way: what you did last year doesn't mean a hill of beans regarding this season. That said, the "lesser" opponent crack was a snotty comment in my opinion and I was just trying to articulate how that comment is normally used. It's used on teams that are obviously inferior to your own (Vandy comes to mind)...something not even the oddmakers felt about LSU given that you were only a 3 point favorite.




    No, it still goes back to the "lesser" comment. I think this conference is too balanced to call anyone outside of Vandy and Miss. State "lesser"...particularly when you're only 1 game better (only a half game in the SEC) than the team that beat you by 24 points and could have made it worse.




    This could be the case. Of course, I'm pulling for a least one more slip up....;)




    I was just pointing out the difference between losing a game that you really had won and getting blown out.
