It looks like Pelini might not be offered the MSU job.

    Fantasy Football Mastermind is reporting:

"The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports the Browns would not comment on rumors coming out of East Lansing, Mich., that DC Todd Grantham will be named head coach at Michigan State on Monday. MSU wants to name a coach by Thanksgiving, but none of the candidates has yet to meet with the university president, according to an NFL source. Grantham is in the running for the job, along with Eagles quarterback coach Pat Shurmur and LSU DC Bo Pelini. On Monday, Browns HC Romeo Crennel said he would not comment further on the prospect of losing Grantham."

Good. I for one and hoping we can keep him for at least one more year. Doubtful, but maybe.

i think if pelini gets the right situation he's gone. i think btwn bo, jimbo, and JR, pelini is the most likely to come back though.

I was thinking today, what if all three jump ship at the same time at the end of season. Man, we would have a lot of holes to fill. :sob:

I am glad he is staying here. Next year LSU could be a contender for the NC and we will need him.

Miami and Alabama are the two most visible openings, but both of them will be wanting an experience head coach. I think we may have bitten the bullet this year.

The Cincinnati job may be a pretty good gig for a first time head coach. Betcha Pelini and/or Fisher gets mentioned for this job.

Exactly. That Cincinnati job might appeal to Pelini at this point. He has Ohio a connections. It's in a BCS league and if successful, he'll be able to dart for a better HC position.
