Did anyone see this quote in the advocate this morning? That quote really doesn't sit well with me. The leader of the team should not use this phrase. There is not some magical force out there that determines the outcome of games - it is the teams' preparation, mental toughness, focus, and execution. I would have preferred him use some other cliche' like we didn't perform well today and will go back to the drawing board and work harder next week to make it better. No instead none of that was mentioned and used a cop out defeatist quote. IMO, that is a reflection on this coaching staff.
