And I'm glad it's finally over. But to re-cap: Since the Cotton Bowl we've had: - Miles to Michigan Part 2, except this time Michigan really came after our coach. - We had a search for a new OC. - The NFL Lockout. - The Willie Lyles debacle. - RS gets replaced at the last minute before SEC media days, and has now been suspended for the Oregon game due to compliance issues. - The day Fall Camp opened we find out Coach Krags has Parkinson's Disease and now Coach Stud will be calling the plays. - The Barfight which took us on a week long roller coaster ride. JJ2 are booked on 2nd Degree Battery charges and both get suspended indefinately. And now, I hope, it's all over. Monday we get "Lunch with Les" and it's game week. Let's do this! Who's ready for some football? :crystal::geaux::crystal::geaux::crystal:
Yes, I wish...I wish Kiko Alonso hadn't got sleepy and busted in the nearest bedroom to take a nap. I wish Cliff Harris hadn't been in such a hurry. I wish Coach Kragthorpe was just drinking too much coffee. I wish Russell Shepard didn't talk so much. I wish the LSU football team had went to McDonalds for a Happy Meal. I wish...I wish I don't kill this thread.
It's been pretty horrible for both schools since the end of last year. Remarkable how our two team's troubles have mirrored each other. Duck fans still have more to worry about lying ahead, while LSU's troubles are still fresh in your minds. So far I would say the torture is about even.
Don't forget when Miles' sister was killed in a car accident earlier in the year. That poor man didn't deserve everything that he's had to endure the past 6 months or so. If he can keep his team together through all of this and pull of a win against the ducks, I never want to hear another complaint about his coaching abilities ever again.
