Currently have the EVO 4G LTE.

I am leaning towards the LG G2.

I want a larger screen but something still workable as a phone as well as being able to place it in your pocket, and a 5.2 inch screen is a nice compromise. They do a great job of utilizing the real estate as the dimensions of the phone are barely larger than my EVO, but an increase in screen size from 4.7 to 5.2. So I'm happy about that aspect.

I love the fact it is maxed out on screen quality (full HD 1920x1080) and has a 2.3 Mhz quad core processor and 32 GB storage built in. Add the all important benefit of extra long battery life.

Biggest complaints I read about are fingerprint marks on screen and casing, and power/volume buttoned being placed on the back of the screen (that would not bother me).

    Hold the fort.

LG G3 is coming out May 27th (allegedly).

    5.5 inch screen
    1440 x 2560 display (2K QHD, 534 ppi)
16 megapixel camera (2.4 on Front)
    8 Core (4 Core @ 2.2, 4 core @ 1.7)
    3 GB Ram
32 GB Storage with MicroSD Card Slot

Not sure if all those specs make it to market. If it does, watch out.

I'm waiting to move from the GS3 to the GS5 in a couple of months. Hell by then the 5 may be obsolete and I'll have something else to pick from.

Just picked up the Galaxy S5 after having the S4 active. Really is much better. Camera, display, performance, and battery life are really good imo.

Immediately ordered another Element Case. Pissed me off that they didn't make one for the S4 active.

I've always had an iphone but I'm getting a new phone next month and may look around. I don't want a huge screen. I like a smaller screen like the original iphone. Any suggestions?

I'll just stick w the iphone. Doesn't look like a television or computer monitor, light, and easy to use.

The new iphone is finally getting a bigger screen well at least rumored. I picked up an old iphone the other day and was shocked at how small it seemed. I actually left iphone because of itunes. Such a pain in the ass especially with shared itunes accounts. Google Play Music is the other reason I left iphone. I don't have to download music which makes GB a non issue and I only pay $7.99 or every song instead of paying for each song individually. Other than that I agree the iphone is simplier but after getting used to android it would take me a lot to go back. Texting is much nicer on the iphone compared to other platforms. I think iphone has the lightest phone but all the phones these days are light.

This is a good general reference on most of the specs offered by each phone.

I'm sick of Samsung's POS devices. HTC is finally making good hardware. It's twice as good as the best device Samsung has ever come out with, but has zero marketing. Hell, the S5 is probably the 4th best smartphone on the market after the HTC M8, LG Nexus and LG G2. Their crap practically begs you to root it just to remove all of the useless Samsung software off of it. Don't get me started on the hardware. My first flip phone had higher quality materials.
