And I've looked smugness and unintelligence in the face. One forum has a thread with improperly structured haikus about the hogs winning on Friday. They also assume that we are all cocky S.O.B.s and that we all have little respect for a team that has gone 10-1, including beating a team that we couldn't beat. However, I know that just because a team wins by 35 (Ole Miss - Ark) and the other team wins by 3 (LSU - Ole Miss) that means nothing about the quality of the teams in question. Tulane beat Mississippi State, and Mississippi State had more offensive yards than Arkansas in their game. Therefore, a team that LSU handily beat with its second team must be beter than Arkansas. These logical fallacies speak to the fanbase of Arkansas greatly, and only further prove the stereotype. Of course, this is not to say that we don't have the same asshats on our forums, but eh- we have better food in ours. They all are talking loads of smack. They're offended that one media source (I think CFN, who has picked us in every game this year) picked us by 4. I only hope and pray, guys, that we don't have that same attitude. They want us to be cocky and rude. And sometimes, there's a place for that. But this team we are about to face this Friday is in the driver's seat. It has us by the balls. Everyone is ready for us to lose. We must give the credit that is due to Arkansas, so that in the end, we can make a good impression on the fans. Does that mean I don't want to see us win by 30? No, of course not. But do I think we will? Does anyone other than Arkansas fans expect either team to do so? You should take a hard look at this team and everything it has and hasn't accomplished this season before you begin spewing like the *fantastic* fanbase of the Piglets.:geauxtige
I went over after your post and what struck me is the "F-bombs" etc. Definitely not as classy as our forum and mods apparently don't run a respectable forum like ours. Before I could post how "Low class" and how terrible an impression it made on me this guy shows up with some of the same foul mouthed, immature language. Let's ignore him and he'll leave. :thumb: I don't blame him for coming to the Tiger's forum, I wouldn't stay in that one either. :yelwink2:

Dad went out to Venice while he was in town last week, got a few. Mostly specks, per the norm, but wasn't too much biting at all this time out. I went off-topic in my own thread, woot.
Me and a buddy of mine each caught a limit of reds by 9:00 am. Didn't have to measure any of them. Will be back in the water early tomorrow.
I made an unfortunate stop at their board. I was hoping to talk football with them. But I find out they have no respect for LSU, one good season and they think they are the best football team in the history of football. They think it's an automatic win because they blew out Ole Miss and we had to go to OT yet they forget about Vanderbilt and Miss. St. They made jokes about Katrina, very classes group. They are nothing but a bunch of white trash rednecks who can only act tough behind a message board. Of course, I am referring to a certain Arky board, not all Arky fans.
Something has happened at WhooPig. I've been going there for years on game week and it has usually been a friendly board with fans that had the best sense of humor in the SEC. No kidding. But this year it is filled with the worse smack-talking know-nothings I have ever seen, bar none. There is no football discussion at all. Just insults and personal attacks and complete homerdom. Avoid WhooPig like the plague. Surely there is a better Arkansas board out there.
