dosen't it feel good that we've resolved the longstanding QB debate?

J.R. played a great game, imo, and displayed talent that could lead us to another NC. I see teams that stack the line against us getting severly punished. Sure, he had that one glaring mistake, but hell, he still played a great game. If our WRs would have been on it would have been truly a phenomenal performance.

I think J.R. has the talent (and the supporting cast) to win a Heisman.

About Pelini and the D: They got shreaded by a gifted QB having a great game...could happen to anyone. But, the few moments i saw him on the sideline he seemed dazed and confused...the man seemed utterly defeated, like he wanted to crawl under a bed and eat fig-newtons.

All in all i was impressed, i like Miles now (he does have a nutsack), jimbo of course, now, ....if we could only get Pelini hitting the sauce before big games..

I meant it as a compliment...

    I thought Rohan was GREAT...

Had he not been robbed of P.T, by Booty, he would have been special, because he already was

I thought there were three underlying great things related to russell

    1. He never threw a single ball close to being intercepted, or even touched by the other team(at least that I remember, and I watched it twice).

    2. He looked cool as a cucumber all night; almost not even excited, although his play pointed otherwise. He stood in the pocket well..... which leads me to...

    3. He got sacked three times, two were his fault holding on to the ball when he saw the protection break down and had time to throw away but didnt, and both times he honestly should have checked out of the play, he should fix this next game. The other was a good play by az. st. Other than that he had ALL DAY to throw the ball most of the night, I mean forever, and he picked them apart and went thru his progressions well.

Cant wait to see them after a good film session and some more practice with a nice dose of normality thrown in.
