Didn't see this mentioned here. A great report from ESPN on Jamarcus's pro day performance! I hope this guy's right. Best of luck, JM. http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/draft07/news/story?id=2798856
Wow now thats impressive, I saw that Craig Davis also lowered his 40 time down to 4.38 which is huge for him. This is lookin to be a real good draft for LSU, can't go wrong with any of our guys.
We do have an impressive lot. Great to see that for the program. And great for the young men who stand to make an impact at the next level!
I didn't check the link, but I am guessing that this guy McShay wrote the article. He was featured on Sportscenter earlier this afternoon talking about how great JaMarcus' day was. McShay is basically in love with Russell. Has had nothing but great things to say about him.
JaMarcus was on heavy rotation on the NFL Network channel today. He was shown doing his workout and stat tests. They spoke to a number of team representatives who were very impressed, but already knew what to expect from the MAN, JM.

So, when Brady Quinn has a excellent pro day, that doesn't count. But, if we're talking about LSU players, then it suddenly does. :thumb:
Get over yourself. Quinn's hype just didn't pan out for him this year. He will still get drafted in the first round and still get paid. I will be surprised if he develops in to a great NFL QB, as he had plenty of trouble when confronted with potential pro speed, but time will tell. As far as Russell and the love he is getting...if it helps you to think that every pro scout/gm/coach is having the exact same delusion....knock yourself out. Russell proved he could win big games, lead his team when things went poorly, never rattle if he made mistakes, and did so in the toughest pro-style defensive conference in America. The fact that you did not notice him until he torched ND in the Sugar bowl makes no difference, everybody has noticed him now. The pros are not perfect but if you really believe that they are gambling upwards of $50 mill on the basis of one game, then you should sell more of that weed, instead of smoking it.:lol:
