    heard that tidbit earlier.

this is a game Alley would be like herschel walker in tecmo bowl with defensive guys bouncing off left and right.

this may be a game were JV is needed much more than previous ones due to his style of running.

Miles said no one has laid the ball on the ground all week, and that he wanted JV and SC to get some PT this game, I think to give them some confidence and let them redeem themselves. We're going to need one of the two, or both, before the season is out.

well if you want defenders bouncing off, you want Joe. Not JV

I feel sorry for the end against Whitworth. What is he going to be giving up? 80 pounds?

But he is fast as greased lightning.

Our defense is undersized, but athletic, fast, with a nose for teh football and a bad attitude when they get there.

Hell, it worked last year and so far this year, with one notable exception (and I know we hadn't played anyone that could beat Hoover High School since then, so don't beat that dead horse.)

How does their O line stack up?....I think they have to win a ball control type of ground game to have any chance :geauxtige

Stanley McGlover...he isnt a chump, but he"s injured a little too. I think our OL can run on them, and they can"t run as well on us...although they"ll have the highest rushing total of an opponent this year I think.

I know McGlover and Graves are good pass rushers, but just run it right behind Whitworth at one of those two and their speed isn't going to matter. And I don't think many teams get that much of a pass rush on us anyway, it has to come from LB's or DB's blitzing.

this is not a game to get peoples confidence up. This is a sec west battle agaisnt a good team and a key step for us if we want to get to secchamp game. I will be completely disapointed in the coaches if they put in JV. We need to use addai 85% of the game(if not more) and let shyrone run wen addai needs a blow.

That's OK by me. Billy Cannon weighed more than anyone on his offensive line.
