Remember when everyone criticized Russell for not putting touch on the ball? Now, it seems like he tries to put touch on every ball, even the ones that need to have some zip on them.

Agree. After the first pick, he seemed to have lost some confidence in his long passes and couldn't seem to find the right touch.

Flynn is better IMHO but Ja marcus is pretty dahm good.
JR is just alot better athletically. I think Flynn is more aware of where his recievers are, so his touch is better, again just MHO

I'll get flamed for this, dont care. Prolly wont check this thread again.

JaMarcus has improved ALOT since game 2-3 hell even game 4.
he doesn't mess up a bunch like he used to, he's maturing.

I'll take him. Let's just Beat Georgia! :geauxtige

one point is a win. :thumb:

He was trying to make a perfect throw on every pass early in the game to get the easy win. So he tried to aim everything in which lead to the floating balls and he could not get into a groove throughout the whole game. I think this whole team played like this today and we will see a completely different group of guys in ATL.
    :geauxtige LSU! LSU! LSU!

Of course you're wrong, but consistent, so that counts for something! :hihi:

JR had an off game. It happens sometimes...just a bit surprised it happened today.

Flynn can't hold JR's jock.... JR is just hot and cold. When he is cold, he still wins... when he is hot he wins impressively.

JR has definately improved a lot. im most impressed with his smart decisions running the ball. that skill is necessary to win close games. he is much better at putting touch on the passes, but it looks like he may have overcompensated somewhat. he is not locking on WRs much anymore, but i think he is often too slow on pulling the trigger. he is improving but given the solid protection he's been given all year, he should be doing even better.

His decision making is what has improved most of all. this has a HUGE impact on the team play, score, etc... even Mile's play calling.

Jamarcus has improved his game immensely from last year. Sure he had a couple of bad throws today but Bowe couldn't catch a cold. He had 3 dropped passes including a couple that would have ended the game.

Jamarcus is our QB this year and next. I think he will make the jump to the NFL after next year.
