I got a good friend who is a Florida alum and he was telling me about how Tennessee is hanging Nukeese Richardson out to dry. He said Jackson got a lawyer really quick and got him out the slammer on bond (17K I think) but Richardson is still in jail. He also said Nukeese is gonna sing like a canary about all the recruiting shyt that went down with Kiffen back in January/early February if they don't try to fight for him.

I wasn't aware of how ugly it had gotten between Florida and Tennessee over the recruitment of Richardson. My friend told me Kiffin called the town of Pahokee (where Richardson was from) a bunch of dumb shirtless people and he had Richardson's Aunt go down the street from where he announced at his school so that she could successfully fax his LOI, fearing the people at his school were too stupid to operate a fax machine and was paranoid it would get faxed to Florida instead. The mayor demanded Kiffin give an apology and his written statement said: I am sorry IF I OFFENDED ANYONE. No, Lane, calling us dumb shirtless people didn't offend us. So he basically wasn't retracting anything he said.
