Lee is having a hell of a game. This is jl's coming out party on national tv! Three passing touchdowns baby! All of those that said lee couldn't do it and jj was so much better can eat their crow. We have a championship caliber qb now at lsu and his name is Jarrett lee! He is making lsu proud and doing it on national tv ! Primetime baby. Hey bama , get ready boys because her comes the general Lee and the mudderfloppin LSU tigers baby! You hear us boys? Here comes the tigers and were gonna kick your fricking arse and Jarrett lee is gonna lead us to victory!
JL played really well. Was surprised to see Reuben Randal drop that sure TD that hit him in the hands. Was also glad to see JL go over to him and "lift RR up."
It should be 4 TDs tonight for him if it wasn't for the unusual drop from RR. But like you said, J Lee really showed the type of leadership we need when RR dropped that pass and became awfully frustrated by lifting him up and chuckling to him. Guy is becoming a real leader that JJ has never been. Great game JLEE and carry on!
In my opinion JL has proven he can be a national championship winning QB. This is the most comfortable he has looked ever in an LSU uniform and he was stepping into his throws and into the pocket. The defense will get even stronger after this game because I'm sure they are happy with the win but none of them will be satisfied with 500+ yards they will be on even more of a mission after this. I'm really excited about how JL and the team are playing. JL is going to keep getting better because it's obvious that his struggles were due to confidence and he is getting more confident with each successful pass GEAUX TIGERS!!
Best QB performance we've had in years. WVA thought we were going to run, run, run, but we went pass-heavy early on and Lee killed 'em. His TD passes were MONEY, especially the one to Clement. The one that Randle dropped was a beauty, too, as was the one that he didnt drop. Perfect execution by the young man. He just keeps getting better every game, and we are now a very real and potent passing threat. Of course, this will help the running game, too. The sky is the limit for this team if he continues to improve.
It was great to see Lee continuing to play a solid game; seems like the OC's are starting to let him open up with the passing game. Still has room to continue to improve with the passing and timing with the receivers. The O-line also has to get a lot of credit as they have been protecting him well. Coach K's help with Lee reading the defenses is paying dividends.
