Belichick thinks VERY highly of Jarvis and he's their primary rush end and is frequently on the field in pass situations. And if not for Ty Warren's dominating rise last season, it could very well have been Green starting most of the time last season. With Richard Seymour not eligibile to come off the PUP until week 6, Jarvis is at least guaranteed to be the primary starter for almost half the season, but even after week 6, Jarvis will still get a lot of playing time because the Pats move Richard to DT in passing downs and Jarvis at DE.
