OK, totally random question for you guys:

I was looking through my video library today to sort through some unmarked tapes. I put in a tape and was surprised to see the 1993 USF&G Sugar Bowl. I’m unsure why I have this on tape (I actually attended the game), but I do. This was the year that Miami played Alabama for the National Championship. This is also the game where George Teague ran down the Miami receiver 80 yards down the sideline and took the ball from him (IMO, one of the best plays of the last 15 years in college football).

Anyway, I noticed that Miami was wearing JB stickers on their helmets that looked identical to the ones we wore last season. Does anyone know what that was for? The stickers were absolutely the exact same as ours…

Jerome Brown? The guy that played for Miami and the Eagles in the NFL? Not sure when he died, but I think it was around then.

That was the time when the Saints and Eagles were vying for best defense in the NFL (yes the Saints). The Dome Patrol. That seems like yesteryear.

I remember one year the Eagles defense averaged only a little more than 200 yards per game. One of the best units ever.
