I remember being excited when we recruited D Byrd last year thinking that it was good to get another experienced player out there with such a young WR corps. With he and Doucet leading the attack, I figured we would be just fine.

Well things started out slowly for Byrd, not making much impact, even with the Tigers playing their best ball offensively early in the season.

Well he came through when we needed him most against Auburn.

Great job young man. You will forever be remembered in LSU Tiger lore.

I think Byrd has shined when given a chance, just hate we couldn't get him sooner.

I wanted to watch Byrd play tonight, but I couldn't see him.

After that TD catch tonight... I bet he gets more tosses as the season winds down.

The chemistry is there between Flynn and Byrd. Also, don't forget the tremendous catch on the sidelines earlier in the game. Kid has great hands.

Yes he does. Take a look at that TD catch and most recievers don't come down with that ball. I'd like to see him get a lot more throws.

After the winner I kept saying how did he catch it. Perfect throw, perfect catch, what a night.

I still haven't decided if the throw or the catch was more impressive. Or the call. lol
