I read on a Bama board that they heard Miles and Jimbo are having some complications. IS this a rumor or is there any truth to this?? I am just wondering if anybody has heard this?
I think the operative statement in your post was "On Bama Boards" 2 comments 1. Its an Internet Board which we all know is the best source for accurate information 2. Its a Bama Internet board. You have a better chance of getting sanity and truth from a Democratic operative. Which is pretty low.
Early in the season they had some issues over playcalling, much like last year Jimbo and Saban had issues (and weren't speaking outside of football). The reports the last month are that they have, and stil are, working it out. Two big egos that want to run the show is what it boils down to. Pretty common stuff in football...winning cures all, and they just had to work out the relationship on a football level since it was a new one to both. Before the season you could tell they got along well off the field, have heard nothing in the last month regarding any run ins, so I assume they are getting along.
I haven't heard it. I don't know what it could be, I haven't seen Miles change very much about the offense. And supposedly Nick was very controlling of him, so I don't think it's a problem with control... I'm willing to bet that this is a fake rumor, somebody made it up because of our offense's problems.
This is the first I've heard of it also. And if these rumors were true, how is it that 'Bama knows it and we don't? Don't you think this would be a hot topic for radio shows, etc.???
It's much ado about nothing. Happens all the time. Did anybody see Parcells chase his assistant back to the sidelines like a mad dog?
I heard the same rumor a few weeks ago, supposedly Fisher being upset with Miles changing a lot of the calls after they came down from upstairs. Sorta difficult to validate the rumor, but Miles and Fisher both have a history of calling plays. I was thinking about bringing it up if the O just tanked, but the team is playing better and more together. They have to working together for that to happen.
