What is the story on Johnson? Hasn't he given up on coaching? Didn't he lose interest several years ago? Has anyone heard he has expressed interest getting back into coaching? Even if he did I think he would like to stay in Florida.
The Johnson talk is pure speculation on this and other boards. Johnson nor any media source has ever indicated that Johnson had a desire to coach again. Heck, I think the man has too much fun doing tv with Howie and Terry.
yep, he comes up for every vacant job when fans start their wishlist. He is not going back to college and nor would i want him. he quit the dolphins due to lack of interest. he sure as hell won't stop fishing the keys to come try and recruit an 18 year old ego.
Agreed. Why would he give up the cushy broadcasting gig to deal with the stress of coaching in the SEC, or anywhere for that matter? Does make for some interesting conversation, though.
