Perhaps the best pass I've seen since Perrilloux to Byrd in the SECCG '07. An absolute rope!

JJ played a helluva game, and deserves the props. Just wanted to point out that one play...a BEAUTIFUL pass! A DART! A LASER!

JJ was getting pummeled as he released it.

He hit the guy in stride as perfectly as a Drew Brees pass.

    It was an awesome play.

It was the play of the season for LSU.

    Don't undersell it.

nah play of the season would be JJ pass to Randle for the 75 yard TD. Not that im taking away anything from JL.

Lots of guys stepped up today: Lee, Jefferson, Toliver, Randle, Ridley, Deangelo Peterson, Drake Nevis, Kelvin Sheppard, Russell Shepard....and Les Miles.

A complete team effort, and it's what we've been waiting to see all season.

I think JL was inspired by JJ's play in this game. Both QB's and WR's made plays they've been missing all season.

    This.

However, I'm strictly talking about the 'prettiness' of the throw. And yes, JJ to RR was very pretty also. But that pass from JL on 3 and forever to ice the game was splendid...talking about the pass itself. Quick, but also an absolute dart. That ball got there on a rope.

I was just impressed that he stepped up into the pocket to avoid the rush and set his feet.

I think there is some confusion in this thread...

JL on third and thirteen was a pretty pass to an open receiver. Great stuff right when it was needed.

But the play of the game was clearly JJ to RR for 75 yards and a score. Awesome. I couldn't believe my eyes.

It was 1 of the 3 BIG plays that turned the game

    Fake punt - perfect

    4th and 1 - #19 reverse flip - perfect

3rd and 13 with Bama wanting us to punt needing only 3 points to tie the game. Most coaches run the ball and run the clock and give up on the 1st to run the clock.

We have a QB that is known for Int's/pick 6's . Les and Gary dail up a pass play that JL throws to a wide open RR. The pass was PERFECT!

LSU wins JJ and JL earned respect and Game Day doesn't know how to handle Les out coaching Nick.
