So, just to recap: the HC does not have sufficient trust and faith in Sharpstown High School's own Joseph Addai to give him the ball in a 4th and short against Tennessee, but he wears his ass out today in sealing a win over another top 11 team. Just trying to keep score...and if you are doing the same, surely you know that feeding #10 in that second half of the UT game has us talking today about an undefeated, top 3 LSU team and not a 1-loss bunch.
"Learning the team?" It would have taken all of 10 minutes of film study this offseason to figure out that JV was, at best, the 3rd best RB on this team. No---no---running back in LSU's stable of backs has been more consistently good the past 3 years than Joe Addai. Doesn't take a rocket scientist to, once Alley goes down, to figure the studly senior Addai should be your guy in important situations.
true.. and if... if's and buts were candy and nuts we'd all have a merry christmas Joe Addia is a guy you want to get the ball to, a play maker. should he have gotton the ball against UT on that 4th? who knows, since he didnt get it we'll never know. Now as far as LSU being a top "3" team..... no not deserved, even if they were undefeated. Notre Dame almost beat USC and if they had they'd be undefeated but are they as good as Texas? nope. Or even Virginia Tech? maybe. Say what you will about our one loss but this LSU offense isn't top 3 caliber. Now if they had about half the penalties and half the fumbles/interceptions... yeah maybe, but nope... but the season ain't over YET!@ :geauxtige
You're right I stand corrected, but the basic point is the same. Bad as I'd like us to be "up" there. it just ain't happening Yet... Yet is the key word, I still have high hopes... :yelwink2: :geauxtige
i like JA, too, but how do you come to the conclusion that he's the "MOST underrated RB", genius? would you know about the other rbs if they are underrated?
