Joe DeForest to remain at OSU???

The OSU football website has Gundy and DeForest listed as next seasons head coaches.

i dont know if this means anything. i was hoping DeForest was coming with Miles. from what i've heard he is an excellent special teams coach.

Yup, he is staying here. Stud coach. Stud recruiter. Bad new for us is that Larry Porter has decided to come down there with coach Miles. He is a stud running backs coach and an excellent recruiter also.

 

Does he have a good pedigree?

 

Tatum Bell, Vernand Morency, Seymore Shaw, Greg Willis.

Porter coming down to LSU is GREAT for us! I loved his resume' (and by that I mean his write up on the OSU website) But is this late-breaking news? I thought I read on the OSU website that he was staying with Gundy and DeForest???

Yes, late breaking news. He said yesterday he was staying. He wasn't at the airport for the 4:00 plane trip today, he did show up late, and has left Stillwater headed to Baton Rouge.

 

Porter must be in tiger-heaven with the talent he has at LSU.
