What happened to the, "he'll obviously stay four years to get the chance to play with his good friends Big Baby and Tasmin Mitchell."?????

Well, he'll still get to play with them...Hell, he'll square off against them both in the All-Star Rookies/Sophomores game in a year or two...

John...Take a cue from Slue foot Sue...Ride off into the sunset before you 86 this program...Or has he already?

What are the chances Brady does a little forward thinking and packs it in to head for a job at a mid-major conference school - is there any possibility that he will get a good glimpse of the ever darkening future and make an exit while he still has enough credentials to get a decent offer somewhere else?

Very insightful. All this shows is that Brady is one hell of a recruiter.

If you read the who article. it says that if he is not a top 20 pick he will come back to LSU. Bass has not signed with an agent so he can come back no questions. He is just testing the water so to speak. We all know he is not a top 20 pick.

Wow. Another insightful post. You guys are "ON" tonight. You're being cruel though. Has Brady ever questioned your burger flipping abilities?

we aren't sure he is not a top 20 pick. Matter of fact he seems like he sure as hell could be with any team knowing his upside...which is any team with a clue. He doesnt have to be successful right away....just sign the fat contract and develop slowly like Stro.

IMO, he didn't dominate enough last year to attract any team to pick him in the top 20. He's unproven and it would be a complete gamble to pick him. I'm almost positive he won't go in the top 20.

Here's the thing - talent is talent, and at pick #20 - #25, we are likely talking about a team with an established core that can afford to draft Bass and develop him over a couple of years based completely on his potential upside. He doesn't have to be an impact guy, he just has to impress a few scouts for teams drafting that low...
