So, let's see what we all actually think about the upcoming season. I'm asking for realistic expectations, not homer rah-rah stuff.

    Bama.

I thought red meant records, and though there are, obviously, several "Big games" I'm most concerned about VT since it's early. If we get by them, and I do think we will -a slight edge for home field - my 11-1 odds are going to shoot through the roof.

I voted 11-1. Not sure who the loss could be too, VT, FLA, Auburn, Bama, Arky, SC all candidates. I went with 11-1 after the spring game, sticking with it. I predicted 10-2 last year.

We could to 12-0 with some luck, or 10-2 with some bad luck. Questions are at QB and wide receiver. I believe in our D.

10-2, just like I predicted last year.

The Virginia Tech game worries me a lot with their defense and our inexperienced offense. Outside of that, I think Florida could trip us up again, but it could be any number of teams. We have a tough, tough schedule this year. We're lucky that almost all the big games are at home, but one off night and we will lose.

11-1 is a very real possibility, losing to Virginia Tech. That would be my guess. At worse I would say 10-2 with an additional loss to Florida.

    11-1

We will beat Bama and the off week before the game helps us get healthy and ready to destroy. LSU has been a good pretty good road team of late. VT might be a possibility with the D but their QB will blow their shot at stealing one from us at Home. Auburn is pay back and we will keep the trend going and finally take one from them at home next year to break the home winning streaks. That leaves either Florida or SC taking one from us at home.

But I think the Tigers have a good chance at going undefeated with the Miss St. game and VT game under our belt.

I agree, we have too many tough games this year and I can't see us winning them all. There will be probably at least one game like Florida in 2003, and Auburn last year where our offense doesn't show up. Hopefully our O-line can get it together earlier than last year and start the running game because Flynn will be needing support at the beginning of the year.

I also say 11-1, with the loss either coming to VT or UF...possibly even SCarolina, but that's a long shot. We certainly have a chance to go 10-2, but with our toughest games at home, we certainly have a chance to go 12-0. I think that will greatly depend on how quickly this team gels, and what kind of momentum we can get going...making the VT game SOOOO important...even though it isn't a conference game.
