I think because of the way we finished out our season, it makes it harder for a lot of our juniors to try and leave early, forcing them to come back and try and garner higher draft status next year. What do ya'll think?
Who do you see leaving early for the draft?

    I don't see anyone leaving.

Black and Lafell are the most likely, but I think they both stay.

Francois could, but that would be a mistake on his part.

Johnson will probably be a late 2nd, early 3rd round pick and that may be the only Tiger getting drafted. Everybody's stock has plummeted. Beckwith has to hope someone picks him up as a free agent at this point.

That's what I was thinking and why I asked this. Who knows... could be this disastrous season is a blessing in disguise, if a good solid majority come back, we'll be loaded... and have a great QB coming in and one with some tested ability. Could also see a ton of leaders step up.

I think Lafell is our only worry.

Tyson Jackson will go pretty high on measurables alone.
Herman Johnson will be a mid rounder
    Byrd will fit in somewhere.
Quinn Johnson will get drafted. I think whoever gets him gets a steal no matter where they draft him. He is Lorenzo Neal all over again.

And I would not be surprised to see Colt David drafted. I know it doesn't happen often, but he is a pretty solid kicker that will be on an NFL roster next year.

Curtis Taylor and Darry Beckwith probably played themselves right out of the draft. They have some time to impress some people, but really both were probably early day two guys, and have now dropped off the face of the NFL draft planet.

I think RJF had aspirations to go early, but I don't think he impressed enough to go. He would benefit by coming back. Without Dorsey to draw the double team, he wasn't that effective. Maybe Charles Alexander didn't get all the way back from the knee and RJF got the double team? Maybe he got a swelled head after the nat. championship game? Should we move him back to end, with Jackson leaving?

From what I hear, RJF may not have a choice. Just sayin'...

Yea. Forgot about that possibility. That would suck for us and him.

I think the big money potential will get some thinking, but after they talk to the coaches/ family and think long and hard... I think we see a large % of our juniors come back as they'll agree they can only up their draft status and command more money by coming back and playing better next season.
I think we take the West next season.

It would only suck for us if he was back in form from the BCSNCG. Otherwise, he was a non-issue this year--made very few plays.
