I was on the West Coast a little south of Los Angeles this weekend and got a good idea of how little real interest anyone has out there in USC. But they think every school in the middle of the country are cow colleges, and that only their elite private SC should be #1. It was pretty bad--although also pretty funny to be in a restaurant's bar watching as the Tigers beat the cr-p out of the Bulldogs and the USC fans being totally silent. But what is most amazing to me is what they printed today in the L.A. Times in an article by Gary Klein on the front page of their sports section entitled "News Leaves Trojans Critical of BCS". Here's what Mike Williams, their sophomore wide receiver (the guy who made that one-handed catch on Saturday), said about LSU: "I've seen LSU, and all I can say is, those guys are not USC. Let's just say, that team has played in some sorority pillow fights." Hmmm. Pete Carroll isn't that classy a coach if his players can go around saying stuff like this. The whole article, in fact, is full of Trojan players complaining. What a sad display!

On the first play of the game, a reverse is handed off to Mike Williams, who is abruptly introduced to one Chad Lavalais. Mike Williams isnt able to talk, much less talk shit the rest of the night. I am still stuck in a quagmire......maybe someone should help me out on this one. I still have not made up my mind as to whether I will be happier that USC loses to Michigan or that LSU wins the undiputed national championship against OU. Help! Remember boys and girls, USC is just 2 letters short of USuCk......just a thought......ponder that and smile
Wow, USC lives by the computer and they die by the computer. If it would of been OU vs. USC there would be hardly the problem there is now. However, if your schedule is crap then you might just get bit by that computer. Oh, and an evil part of me thought to myself that the only pillow that Mike Williams gets hit with is the one with nutz in it
islstl - I was thinking that same damn thing last night!! Would I trade an LSU win for a USC loss?? The conclusion was no, but my hate for USC is so high that I actually had to think that one out.
