:geaux: :geaux: :geaux: Well, another game that took me just short of a heart attack if over and the Tigers come out ahead; thank God!!! UT was well represented and indeed was louder that Tiger Fans most of the game. At times it was deafening. Dispite a slow start and sloppy play at times the Tigers come through. It's a great win for the Tigers. Let's get ready to the BCS Bowl. (Notice i didnt say anything about Miles) Lets focus people. :geaux: :geaux: :geaux: :geaux:
I was in the GA dome to see the LSU Tigers win the 2007 SEC Championship! It's a shame that we LSU fans were so outnumbered. I'd say that the ratio was 5-1 or 6-1. I was outside the GA Dome during halftime when one Volfan in a group of about five men tells me "Hey, you smell like a corndog." So, I tell him, "no, you must have a corndog stuck up your nose." So he repeats what he said, and I say again, "you have a corndog stuck up your nose." I'm glad that the five guys didn't jump me, because they could have kicked my ass. I didn't back down and neither did LSU -- that's what we mean when we say that WE ARE THE FIGHTING TIGERS ! The Vol fans who were around my seat were fairly well-behaved. I had a Vol fan sitting right next to me . . . a seven-year-old little boy. As such, I was as polite as a schoolmarm. Ole Jean Lafitte loves children, dogs and the fairer sex. LET'S HEAR ABOUT YOUR GAME IMPRESSIONS FOR ALL THOSE WHO WERE IN THE GEORGIA DOME TO SEE LSU PLAY FOR THE CONFERENCE CHAMPIONSHIP! LSU! :crystal:
Good job Jean It's always good to hear that someone actually cared about someone else and was respectful due to a child. Good to know that there are still people like that in the world.
Yeah I was there also and couldn't believe that LSU fans didnt travel. I give that to Tenn they travel and was represented very well nothing but Orange and kept hearing all of those chants. Glad we pulled it out much props to the LSU fans that did travel.
