First of all i am very dissapointed just like everyone but i am greatfull for a great ride and even though it didnt turn out like we wanted i am proud of the Guys and they kept fighting till the end. Having said that this was just one of those days where no matter what you do it turns out bad and give credit to UCLA because they played an excellent first half. Every phase of LSU's game failed them tonight. It just seemed like every loose ball and every break that could go against the Tigers did. They play good defense and with 1 second the shot clock and UCLA shoots a 40 foot prayer and it goes in. Some days you eat the bear and some days the bear eats you. I kept thinking to myself that as bad as LSU has played and as good as UCLA played we just needed a run to start the second half and we were right back in it. We showed our inexperience at the gaurd position and our glaring weakness at outside shooting . This allowed UCLA just to pound Big Baby and this game he couldnt overcome it. Well thanks for a great year and i hope Tyrus and Big Baby come back next year to finish what they started. I am proud of you Tigers and learn from this and we will be better prepared for next year.
Get over it we had a decent year. Big Gorilla did good and Hoppy Thomas had a break out year. We will be pre season top 6 next year IF these guys come back. If they jet then unfortunately we wont see the FF for a while.
who cares. Let em show it on the court, i could care less how they are rated preseason as long as they give it their all on the court
Doesn't matter. Basketball, like baseball, is a sport that top 25 rankings literally mean nothing. As long as you're "in the field of 64", anything can happen...and almost anyone can be crowned champion. Rankings are good in basetball and baseball ONLY for the fans' own pride.
