The trip and game was awesome!!! I took some pictures that have potential to be awesome....I say potential because I took them at awesome moments (Claytons TD and the Turners TD) and I was sitting on the 8th row so I was really close..The only thing I am worried about is that I was using a "disposable digital camera"...I have never used one before so I am kinda worried about the quality of the picture (with the motion of the players, maybe causing problems)..Once I get them I will post them if they come out good.

I also got to meet BayouBengal and Jeremyws1

Hey Geauxscott, on tv is seemed like there were more GA folks
than LSU folks...or was that just biased camera panning??

Aren't equal tickets allotted to the two competing schools? (And the rest given to conference big whigs, corporate sponsors. media, etc., etc..) I know Athens is only 1-hr away, but still...
Anyway, as you said, did not seem to matter!!!

There were a ton more uga fans than LSU. I was one of about 5 LSU fans in the section I sat in.

The stadium holds about 74K...each school gets 15,900 tickets and the rest are sold to the public and since its in Atlanta UGA fans got to them first

Yeah, the CBS guys doing the game mentioned something about Coach Saban suggesting the Super Dome as venue; a site in the SEC Western div for a change....(in a domed stadium - Legion Field doesn't count..)

yeah, that would be cool....they could rotate the Home team every year, one year have the West team be the home team at the Super Dome and then the next year the East team can be the Home team at the Georgia Dome

    ticket allotment

I heard that all the schools get a certain number of tickets and the east teams all give them to the east representative, but all the west teams keep them for themselves. I don't know if there is any truth to that. However, there was an auburn fan sitting next to us, all decked out in orange and blue.

    See you guys on Bourbon!

Had a great time at the Georgia Dome. Got back about 5 this evening. I dont know how many LSU fans were at the Dome, but there were plenty of us. Sure we were outnumbered, but we had more than I thought we would have. The UGA fans sitting by me were amazed at the fans we brought. I guess they expected to see about 9K like the Hogs brought last year. We had more fans in AZ than the Hogs had at the SECCG.
