I really don't expect much from the LSU baseball team, so I am guaranteed not to be disappointed, no matter what happens.

I know that we will win another SEC series and play some postseason games somewhere, but that's it.

I'd be astonished if we see you in Omaha, because I don't think both of us will be there.

 

come on....lsu is unlike to get out of the SEC tournament....getting past a super regional worries can come after they win 3 sec series

So he's supposed to say, "I'm a ****ty coach, the reason the team is not hitting worth a poop is because of me and my coaching staff not handling them correctly"? The guy knows he is partly to blame, he also knows his coaches and the players are also partly to blame. They are working hard to get through this.

i know what you mean, though. he NEVER takes on any sense of urgency. it's almost like he has this attitude that things will take care of themselves because of what our baseball program has achieved in the past.
